Work a Day in my Shoes

Promoting a workplace for all!

All families/individuals face challenges in balancing work and home responsibilities but it is doubly hard when the parent/individual has a visible or hidden barrier to employment.

Many job situations are never gained or are lost for people who experience barriers in their employment situations. Often this arises from the complicated nature of navigating the social world of employment.

Work contributes to the development of vibrant communities; and the need to provide all people with the same life opportunities so they can live life to the fullest and realize their ambitions and potential.

This project provides information and strategies to the employer/business that promotes an inclusive workplace that will not only benefit the employee but will give real benefits to the employer and the community.
